Goran Visnic- The Time Traveling Mastermind Criminal

As the fall season has just started, all major TV networks like ABC, CBS and NBC are battling for the intriguing 10 p.m. timeslot for their shows on line. Beating out FOX’s Lethal Weapon reboot with 250.2 million impressions, and CBS’ NCIS: Los Angeles with 234 million, NBC is going all out for Timeless reaching nearly 286 million TV ad impressions in the past week alone. The series premiered on Monday, October 3, and will air every Monday at 9:00 p.m. EST on NBC. The science-fiction series is based on the premise of time travel and includes an amazing team of cast members. Among them, playing the series villain or antagonist is Goran Visnic who we all remember as Marco Constante in this year's third season of Crossing Lines.

Visnic plays the character of Garcia Flynn, a time-traveling criminal mastermind, who steals a time machine in order to change the course of American history.  In order to ruin his evil plans, the government sends a team of experts assigned to travel back in time and stop him from destroying the glorious past of America. Flynn is an ex-NSA agent, who tries to stop historical events like the Hindenburg disaster from taking place. However, a professor, a bodyguard, and an engineer are on the hunt for this time-traveling criminal.

The entire plot of the series centers on catching the bad guy, Garcia Flynn (played by Goran Visnic) who as a villain is surprisingly layered. For a villain or an antagonist he surely feels more human compared with other, and in a number of situations and in a lot of ways, we can actually relate to his motives and the things that drive his actions. Exposing the differences between society today and societies of different eras in the past is an important aspect of the series. Fun and thought-provoking, Timeless has light-hearted moments and a fun side to itself. By putting ourselves in the time travelers shoes we can think about the things that have changed or still haven’t changed in so many years of our society. Each episode is in a different time period which allows us to learn more about the history of our nation.
